This sunny modern apartment, just outside Morzine, provides comfort and convenience, and a magnificent outlook across surrounding mountains. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a substantial open plan living area, it easily accommodates 6 people.
Apartment Octavia is situated in Essert Romand, a pretty Savoyard farming village less than 10 minutes from Morzine. In the heart of the Portes du Soleil, this is an exceptional location for winter sports and summer activity holidays in an area of outstanding beauty.
Awarded an official 4-star rating by the French Tourist Board - it is, as our clients have said, 'really a home from home'. Occupying the whole of the top (2nd) floor of the building, it is an unusually spacious holiday apartment, enhanced by its open plan design, high vaulted wood beam ceilings and three balconies. The contemporary kitchen, welcoming large entrance hall, and underfloor heating throughout, combine to create a relaxing, stylish and well-equipped base, suiting a family or a group of friends.
A lot of care has gone into making sure the apartment is geared up for the needs of winter sports enthusiasts who just want to be up and out in the morning, and at the same time, looks after those who like to potter and take their time. The very large living area is adaptable for the whole of the family or a group of friends, with plenty of space and seating to spread out and relax at the end of the day, with TV & DVD, wifi, Bose I-Pod dock, books and games all available.
The well designed & equipped open plan kitchen and adjacent dining area makes life easy for those who enjoy cooking, dining and wining at home. The local Savoyard restaurant and bar offers a convenient alternative at the end of an active day. There is a private parking space and secure storage for skis, boards, & bikes.
A quiet retreat but it is an easy trip into the centre of Morzine with its shops, lively apres ski and immediate access via the main ski lifts to Morzine/Les Gets and Avoriaz and beyond. It's a 5 minutes drive to the large local supermarket and petrol station, and just a short walk to the restaurant and bar, or the pizza takeaway in the village itself.
The apartment is well located for exploring everything that is on offer. Winter is not only down-hill skiing and boarding - support Morzine's ice hockey team, the PIngouins; try snow-shoe walking; ski de fond; watch the Grand Odyssey Husky Race or even try husky sledding yourself. The large indoor swimming pool complex, added in 2012, is a welcome addition to the outdoor pools and play areas.
Close to Morzine, its slopes, shops and restaurants, but far enough away to relax and chill out in the evening after a full day of fun
Apartment Octavia is, in fact, a great all-year round destination for holidays so keep in mind the local summer calendar packed with events and activities, water sports, picnics, walks, and lazing in the sun!

A non-refundable deposit payment of 25% of rental rate is required to secure the booking. Rental balance and a refundable security deposit of £300/350 euros is payable 8 weeks before the start date of holiday
The Security Deposit is refunded subject to terms and conditions, within 4 weeks of the end of holiday. Details of conditions in the event of a cancellation are set out in the contract sent to clients when making the booking. If payments due are not paid in full on time, we reserve the right to cancel
